Your files

Files you open in RowDiff are read inside your browser and are not sent to us.

Purchases

Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your email address, what you bought and the amount, and keep these records as UK tax rules require. Your credit key and its remaining balance are stored on our server. We never see your card details.

Cookies and analytics

No cookies are set. Your credit key is kept in your browser's local storage so you don't have to type it again. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not track you across sites.

Where data lives

The site and its small server run on Cloudflare. Payments are handled by Stripe, Inc. Ad attribution, when you arrive from one of our ads, is a label naming the ad, kept for your browser tab only and passed to Stripe with a purchase; it says nothing about you.

Credits and file fingerprints

When you spend a credit, your browser sends your key and a fingerprint of the pair of sheets: a SHA-256 hash computed in your browser from each file's hash and sheet name. It lets us avoid charging twice for the same pair. It cannot be turned back into your data, and the file contents themselves are never sent.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask what personal data ALGD LTD holds about you, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Email hello@rowdiff.com.
